The VS-626MR5 is a highly reliable AC vector controlled inverter drive designed for controlling high speed, compact AC motors used in machine tool spindle drive applications. Vector controlled technology through the use of a digital signal processor and proprietary algorithms for speed, torque, and current control allows for minimum speed and torque variations during cutting. This impacts accuracy and surface finish of precision parts. 100% back-to-line power regeneration provides quick spindle deceleration times not limited by the ohmic value of externally mounted regeneration resistors. Error code : Overcurrent (Fault #01)

Meaning: Output current exceeded overcurrent detection level.

Corrective actions:

Check the wiring

Check the input supply voltage

Check the AC reactor

Check the load shaft (Inverter, Servo) capacity

 

Error code : Main circuit fuse blown (Fault #04)

Meaning: Main circuit fuse was blown.

Corrective actions: Check for damaged transistor, load short circuit, ground short, etc…

 

Error code : Overload (Fault #05)

Meaning: Output current exceeded overload level.

Corrective actions:

Reduce the load

Check the load shaft (Inverter, Servo) capacity

 

Error code : Output overvoltage (Fault #11)

Meaning: Output voltage exceeded overvoltage level.

Detection level:

200V class: Approx. 400V

400V class: Approx: 800V

Corrective actions:

Check the input supply voltage

Check the load shaft (Inverter, Servo) capacity

 

Error code : Main circuit undervoltage (Fault #12)

Meaning: Main circuit output voltage became lower than undervoltage detection level.

Corrective actions: Check the input supply voltage

 

Error code : Built-in MC operation fault (Fault #23)

Meaning: Magnetic contactor did not function

Corrective actions: Replace the unit

 

Error code :CPU built-in A/D error (Fault d2)

Meaning:Built-in A/D Converter error

Corrective actions: Replace the control PCB

 

Error code : ROM error (Fault F0)

Meaning: Memory (PROM) error
